The Atlas Kasbah Ecolodge is a beautiful guesthouse, peacefully situated in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. In the heart of its own exceptional ecosystem, where a permaculture garden, olive trees, argan trees, palm trees, fruit trees and aromatic and medicinal plants and other cultures coexist, the ecolodge offers a natural heritage of beauty and makes it very easy to leave all your worries at the entrance! All meals are provided on this retreat, the traditional (vegetarian) Moroccan food is freshly prepared each day, using local produce, many from women's cooperatives.
We are so lucky that the Atlas Kasbah has its own yoga studio with magnificent views, complete with yoga mats and equipment - no need to bring your own.
The saltwater pool is yours to use whenever you wish during the day and has very comfortable sun loungers, tables and chairs, and shady areas surrounding it.
During your free time you can swim or lounge around the pool, find a quiet spot on the terrace to read a book, take a trip to Agadir (shopping/marina/beach) or further afield, have a walk around the grounds, or indulge in a treatment in the onsite Spa (payable locally).

A ladies only retreat where you can truly embrace winter - yoga, wood-fired sauna, icy dips, snowy walks, wholesome food and time for you.
Our retreat centre, Shambala Gatherings, is a very special yoga retreat centre nestled in the dense forests of Sweden's Bergslagen region. The accommodation is welcoming, simple and cosy, with an overriding ethos of community and sustainability. The simplicity of Shambala Gatherings extends to the lovingly prepared vibrant, vegan meals; which are nurturing, mostly organic, gluten free, use only healthy fats, and are free from refined sugars and artificial sweeteners.
The large yoga shala overlooks the lake and floating sauna, and is fully equipped, so no need to bring any yoga kit with you. If you fancy snuggling up with a book (or like me - your latest knitting project!) there are comfortable areas to hunker down in the dining/lounge area and the small library. If you feel like a stroll or a hike, there are plenty of trails around the area, and the closest town, Skinnskatteberg, is easy to walk to (you can treat yourself to the most amazing cardamon buns at a lovely bakery there!).
In addition to yoga classes, we will have the opportunity for daily saunas and dipping in the icy lake if you wish! If you are unsure about dipping, as a Cold Water Facilitator, I am happy to be with you all the way, guiding you step by step into the water safely, and take you through breathing techniques that may help you while you adapt to the temperature.

Join me for a long weekend where you will have the opportunity to escape, relax, unwind and have some "me-time." Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Powys, our venue is set within its own woodland, with gorgeous gardens, and the delicate sound of a stream to sooth your cares away.
This very small and intimate retreat is open to just 8 people of all abilities, and will include a variety of classes, including hatha, yin and restorative yoga, and also qigong. There will also be some time set aside where you can indulge in a massage or reflexology treatment, simply relax within the 17th century house, or have a stroll through the stunning grounds and local trails. Delicious and freshly prepared vegetarian meals are provided, and drinks are available all day.

Immerse Yourself in Nature on this weekend retreat, where you can escape normality, have fun, unwind, and reconnect with Mother Earth.
Our venue is The Forge, a family run, eco-glamping site just 11 miles from Llangollen in North Wales. We will have full and exclusive use the site, including its 4 acres of wild flower meadows, wild swimming pond and iron-age hill fort.
Our time together will be filled with yoga, qigong, meditation, walks, swimming, sitting around a campfire, and of course, the freedom to do absolutely nothing!
In addition to all of the above we will be treated to an evening with a local storyteller and have the opportunity to take 2 woodfired saunas over the weekend. The glass-fronted sauna overlooks the wild swimming pond, in which we can have a dip/swim as often as we like!
Our accommodation will be in beautiful bell tents equipped with 2 or 3 single beds with comfy mattresses, bedding, and a log burner. Each tent has its own outside covered camping kitchen so you can make yourself a cuppa whenever you like, a decked seating area, and a composting toilet. The shower cabin has 2 showers in individual rooms, each with a dressing area.
We will have our own private chef providing us with delicious, nutritious plant-based meals that are free from refined ingredients, catering for all dietary requirements.
"Having never done any yoga and certainly not in a group, I thought why not come to Morocco and try it for the first time! What an experience I will never forget, and very glad I decided to!! I really enjoyed the hatha and yin yoga and felt Gail pitched the sessions so they flowed brilliantly. Finding a nice balance between resting and pushing a little more. I didn't ever feel any pressure to be doing what anyone else was, or to try something I wasn't comfortable with. Gail always gave options and catered for individual levels and abilities and checked to make sure everyone was ok! I felt looked after but at the same time in control of my own movements." - HW
"I love Gail’s yoga retreats which are always so well planned and executed with an overall theme that allows us to learn more about yoga as well as benefitting from the poems she reads (carefully related to the theme of the day) and words of wisdom. I think Gail is a fabulous teacher, who adapts to individual needs and offers plenty of options. I love her yoga & Qigong classes. Despite her expertise, nothing is taken too seriously, allowing plenty of enjoyment and laughter. Truly rejuvenating." LM.
"Thank you for having me on your lovely retreat! It is always a pleasure to bathe in your warm energy, but to couple that with the beautiful Whitehouse, the ever-accommodating Helen & Anne-Marie, ample tasty food & a varied yoga schedule was simply bliss! I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend & left feeling relaxed and nourished." - Kerry
"Thank you so much for such a wonderful time at Atlas Kasbah. I have come home feeling well nurtured, regenerated and relaxed. Looking forward to being back with you + all those lovely people again next November!" - Trish
"Thank you so much for an absolute blessing of a weekend, I honestly don’t have adequate words to express my gratitude. You bring together the most beautiful souls and put together the perfect program, every time I feel like it’s been designed personally for me (though I suspect everyone feels similarly). As a neurodivergent person, who I believe is *always* in the sympathetic nervous systems fight / fight / freeze / fawn, your sessions are about the only thing that allow me to actually switch to parasympathetic, rest and digest. Thank you thank you thank you." AO
"What a wonderful retreat. It was absolutely perfect. From the warm reception on arrival to the overwhelming desire to stay longer when the time came to leave..
There was so much variety in the yoga sessions - and yet it all flowed beautifully. Every yoga practice gave me something special and different.
The poetry and readings were so poignant and memorable adding to the complete experience.
Spending the weekend with such a lovely group of ladies in a wonderful venue with fabulous food (and hosts) - what more could you ask for.
Thank you - I am all booked for next year x" CB
"My soul is rejuvenated and I feel full of gratitude as I remember all of those wonderful moments from the retreat, and hope they stay with me forever." RB
"Thank you Gail for a wonderful retreat - it was just what I needed ❤️" JW
"Words cannot express how much I loved your retreat.
A beautiful place, fabulous food, a lovely group ladies and of course… wonderful yoga classes by you. From the moment I arrived I just knew it was a magical place.
I have left feeling ……. completely at peace.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart." SH
